Dear Fellow West Point Alumni,
My brother, Artist Paul Kamish is
creating limited edition relief
"wall
sculptures" of the Imagery
of The United States Military
Academy at West Point.
The collection is scheduled to be
released Summer
2008.
Paul is meeting
with executives at the West Point
Association of Graduates in
early March to discuss details of the
release of the collection.
There will be three
sculpture works in this collection;
Each sculpture will be
limited to only 200 pieces.
Each sculpture will be signed and
numbered by the artist.
Paul Kamish's body of work
continues to expand . . .
Paul's latest work is a
fabulous 4 sculpture collection of
imagery from the University of Notre
Dame.

We want
Your Opinion
. . .
These cold-cast
bronze relief sculptures will have
framed dimensions of approximately 16" x
20". When starting any sculpture, a
series of images and sketches are made
to design the look and feel which will
ultimately be the layout for the
sculpture.
We are asking for
your assistance. Paul
would like to get feedback on the
following rough concepts that he has put
together. Some are quick sketches and
other are just collages of existing
photos and old Vikings footage.
As you will see, the
images that follow are very rough
starting points and the intention is
just to get layout ideas for the
sculptures. The focus here is
concept and composition.
Imagine the images as relief sculptures
with a bronze finish like the Notre Dame
pieces.
What images or ideas
of West Point would you most like to
see as wall sculptures in the "Long
Gray Line Collection"?
